Jared Berggren scored 21 points as No. 11 Wisconsin rolled to a 77-31 victory over visiting Missouri-Kansas City in the Chicago Invitational Challenge on Tuesday.

The Badgers (4-0) put together an early run of 13 unanswered points to build a 21-8 cushion by the midway point of the first half. Wisconsin hit three 3-point shots during the burst and went into the break with a 41-18 advantage having made 8-of-14 from beyond the arc.

Wisconsin, owners of the nation's top-ranked defense, held the Kangaroos (1-4) to 20.8 percent shooting from the field.

The Badgers, meanwhile, hit 52.6 percent of their shots while dishing out 18 assists against only eight turnovers.

Ben Brust scored 10 of his 12 points in the first half for Wisconsin, which outrebounded UMKC 42-22.

Trinity Hall and Reggie Chamberlain scored seven points apiece for UMKC.
