Guard Reggie Bullock scored a career-high 23 points to lead No. 1 North Carolina to a 102-69 victory over visiting Tennessee State on Tuesday.

North Carolina (4-0) improved to 6-0 all-time in the Las Vegas Invitational, winning the tournament in 2007-08. The Tar Heels travel to Las Vegas to face South Carolina on Friday.

Tennessee State (2-3) fell to 0-6 versus ACC opponents and will also travel to Sin City and face Mississippi Valley State at the Orleans Arena on Friday.

The Tigers hung around for the first half by hitting 7-for-16 from beyond the arc in the opening period. However, the Tar Heels’ firepower would prove too much.

Tyler Zeller and Harrison Barnes scored back-to-back dunks, part of a 20-5 run to begin the second half which helped North Carolina pull ahead by 23 with just over 13 minutes remaining in the final period.

Tar Heels forward Jon Henson finished with 16 points and a career-high six assists while Zeller dropped in 12 and Barnes added 16.

North Carolina outrebounded Tennessee State 41-23.

Kellen Thornton scored a team-high 15 points and Kenny Moore had 14 points and was 4-of-6 from beyond the arc for Tennessee State.

North Carolina point guard Kendall Marshall dished out 15 assists, giving him three 15-assist games in 24 career starts.
