Reeves Nelson had 18 points and seven rebounds as UCLA won its sixth straight game, 69-65 at Stanford on Thursday.

Tyler Honeycutt had 13 of his 16 points in the first half as UCLA (19-7, 10-3 Pac-10), which has won 10 of its last 11, never trailed. Josh Smith added 13 points and nine rebounds as the Bruins capped a season sweep of the Cardinal.

Jeremy Green led Stanford (13-12, 6-8) with 27 points. The Cardinal also got double figures from Anthony Brown (15 points) and Josh Owens (12 points).

UCLA led by as much as 16 in the second half, but Green helped the Cardinal cut the deficit to four points with just over a minute to play.

UCLA shot 9 of 19 from 3-point range, and Nelson helped close things out by hitting 8 of 10 from the free throw line.

The Bruins trail Arizona by one game in the Pac-10 as the two teams meet next week in Los Angeles.
