Jeremy Hazell scored 28 points to lead Seton Hall to a shocking 90-68 win at No. 10 Syracuse on Tuesday night in the Big East Conference, the third consecutive loss for the Orange.

Hazell opened the game with a 3-pointer for the Pirates (9-12, 3-6 Big East), who hit 7-of-11 shots from long distance while building a 43-30 halftime lead.

A 7-0 run by Seton Hall at the start of the second half stretched the margin to 20 points with 16:36 remaining and Syracuse (18-3, 5-3) never got closer than 15 the rest of the way.

Seton Hall shot 54 percent (33-of-61) from the field while allowing the Orange to shoot just 36 percent (26-of-72), including just 5-of-21 from 3-point range.

Jordan Theodore added 19 points and seven assists for Seton Hall, which had five players score in double figures.

Kris Joseph paced Syracuse with 17 points.
