Alec Burks scored 20 points to lead Colorado to a 92-70 victory over Division II Western New Mexico on Wednesday for its 21st straight non-conference win at home.

Colorado (11-4) scored 52 points in the paint en route to its fourth straight victory, and ninth in its last 10 games.

The Buffaloes open their final Big 12 Conference season Saturday when they host No. 8 Missouri.

Cory Higgins scored 15 points, Marcus Relphorde and Levi Knutson added 13 apiece and Andre Roberson had 12 points and 12 rebounds for the Buffaloes, who had a 49-27 advantage on the boards.

Western New Mexico (5-10) jumped out to an 8-2 lead and extended the lead to 16-4 before Colorado woke up and led 44-36 at the half.

T.J. Riley scored 20 points and Chad Carter 18 for the Mustangs.

Colorado will join the Pac-10 beginning in the 2011-12 season.
