Shaedon Sharpe had 29 points, seven rebounds and five assists as the visiting Portland Trail Blazers rallied from an 18-point deficit to defeat the Detroit Pistons 110-101 on Wednesday.

Jerami Grant supplied 24 points for Portland, while Deandre Ayton contributed 16 points, 11 rebounds and five steals.

Malcolm Brogdon added 14 points, six rebounds and six assists off the bench. Rookie guard Scoot Henderson had 11 points and seven assists before departing in the third quarter with an ankle sprain.

Cade Cunningham carried the Pistons with 30 points. Ausar Thompson had 16 points and seven rebounds, and Isaiah Stewart added 12 points.

Joe Harris chipped in 11 points for the Pistons, who committed 18 turnovers. Portland outscored Detroit 63-42 in the second half.

Pistons center Jalen Duren, who is averaging a double-double, missed the contest with a left ankle sprain.

The Pistons made six 3-pointers in the opening quarter to grab a 32-26 lead. Harris hit a 3-pointer with the shot clock winding down early in the second quarter, kicking off an 11-0 run. Thompson made a pair of alley-oop dunks after Marcus Sasser steals during that span to give Detroit a 14-point advantage.

The Pistons led by as much as 18 before settling for a 59-47 halftime advantage. Cunningham led the way with 14 points.

A 7-0 spurt allowed the Blazers to pull within six at 64-58 with 8:36 left in the third quarter. Detroit answered with an 11-2 run, including seven points from Cunningham, for a 15-point advantage.

Portland roared back with a 19-7 run. Sharpe scored 13 of those points, including three 3-pointers. By the time the quarter ended, the Pistons' advantage was down to one at 84-83.

Grant's 3-pointer with 6:51 left in the fourth gave Portland the lead at 94-93. Cunningham's layup with 4:06 left tied it at 97-all.

Sharpe made four free throws in a 40-second span to give his club a 103-99 lead. Toumani Camara hit two free throws with 1:04 left to give Portland a 106-101 lead.

A Brogdon jumper with 33.2 seconds remaining clinched the Blazers' comeback.
