Jerami Grant scored 22 points and the visiting Portland Trail Blazers defeated the Toronto Raptors 99-91 on Monday night.

Malcolm Brogdon added 21 points and Deandre Ayton had 10 points and a career-best 23 rebounds as Portland won for the first time in four games this season.

Scottie Barnes had 20 points and 12 rebounds for the Raptors, who have lost three straight games. Pascal Siakam also had 20 points, Dennis Schroder and OG Anunoby each scored 10 points and Jakob Poeltl had 14 points and 10 rebounds.

Shaedon Sharpe added 14 points for the Blazers and rookie Scoot Henderson matched a season best with 11 points before fouling out late in the fourth quarter.

Portland took a six-point lead into the fourth quarter.

Siakam's layup with 6:45 left in the fourth trimmed the lead to four points. The lead shrunk to one on Poeltl's layup and free throw. Grant hit a 3-pointer and Brogdon made a layup to increase the lead to six with 1:56 to play. Later, after Siakam made a layup, Brogdon answered with a layup to restore the six-point lead with 25.9 seconds left.

Toronto led 25-21 after the first quarter.

Portland scored the first nine points of the second quarter to grab a five-point lead. Toronto answered with five straight points. Portland regained a five-point lead on Ayton's 9-footer with 3:31 left in the quarter. Toronto came back to take a 50-47 lead on Siakam's tip-in layup that completed the first-half scoring.

Siakam had 12 points at halftime.

Sharpe led Portland with 10 first-half points.

Portland took a 63-61 lead on Grant's dunk with 6:46 to play in the third quarter. Toronto responded with five consecutive points. The teams continued to exchange buckets and Portland used an 11-0 run to lead by eight with 2:16 to play in the third quarter. After Toronto cut the lead to four, Brogdon gave Portland an 80-74 lead with a layup that completed the scoring in the third quarter. Jabari Walker blocked a shot for Portland at the end of the third.

Robert Williams III (rest) did not play for Portland. Precious Achiuwa (groin) did not play for Toronto.
