NEW YORK -- Rookie guard Bojan Bogdanovic hit the go-ahead 3-pointer with 85 seconds left in overtime, and the Brooklyn Nets evened their Eastern Conference quarterfinal series with a 120-115 victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Monday.

The best-of-seven series is tied at two games apiece heading to Game 5 on Wednesday in Atlanta. The Washington Wizards, who swept their first-round series against the Toronto Raptors, await the Hawks-Nets winner.

Point guard Deron Williams led the Nets with 35 points. He shot 13-for-25 from the floor overall, and he added seven assists and five rebounds. Williams made seven 3 pointers, three of them in the fourth quarter when the Nets rallied from an eight-point deficit.

Williams hit clutch shots until he missed a turnaround in the final seconds of regulation that would have won it. The Hawks were unable to get a shot off on their final possession of regulation, and the game went to overtime tied at 104.

Atlanta held a 113-111 advantage when forward Joe Johnson found Bogdanovic alone in the left corner for a 3-pointer that put Brooklyn on top.

The Hawks had several chances, but guard Kyle Korver missed three 3-pointers in the final 45 seconds.

Forward DeMarre Carroll and guard Jeff Teague led Atlanta with 20 points apiece. Teague also contributed 11 assists. Center Al Horford scored 17 points, forward Paul Millsap had 16 points and 12 rebounds, and Korver scored 16 points and grabbed 11 rebounds.

Brooklyn center Brook Lopez added 26 points and 10 boards. Johnson scored 17 points, and Bogdanovic finished with 15.

NOTES: Brooklyn coach Lionel Hollins defended PG Deron Williams, who made two of 15 shots in the previous two games and seven of 26 in the series before heating up Monday. Williams did not play the final 16 minutes Saturday after injuring his back and later injuring his leg on a screen set by Atlanta G Jeff Teague. Williams also is dealing with severe tendinitis in his right knee, according to teammates. ... Atlanta C Al Horford appeared in his 52nd playoff game, tying Josh Smith for second on the team's all-time list. He is four behind Tree Rollins for first place. ... Including the playoffs, Saturday marked the eighth time in 236 games with the Hawks that G Kyle Korver did not make a 3-pointer. ... The Nets and Hawks entered Monday as the only teams yet to score 100 points in the postseason, but both reached triple figures in regulation during Game 4.
