Clippers 107, Nuggets 92: J.J. Redick scored 25 points as Los Angeles defeated host Denver for its ninth win in 10 games.

Chris Paul added 23 points and nine assists for the Clippers, who moved within one game of third-place Memphis in the Western Conference. DeAndre Jordan collected 22 rebounds to go with 14 points and three blocked shots while Blake Griffin contributed 12 points and seven assists for Los Angeles.

Wilson Chandler scored 17 points for the Nuggets, who lost for the eighth time in 10 games. Randy Foye added 14 points and Kenneth Faried had 10 points and 14 rebounds as Denver dug a big hole and couldn’t recover.

Los Angeles scored the first 13 points and led 24-6 just 5:32 into the contest before cruising into halftime with a 55-39 advantage. Denver was within 11 early in the third quarter before the Clippers moved ahead by 17 on Matt Barnes’ layup and later took an 82-70 lead into the final stanza.

Foye’s 3-pointer had the Nuggets trailing by 13 early in the final quarter before Denver went 4 1/2 minutes without scoring and Los Angeles took a 96-78 lead on Redick’s 3-pointer with 6:09 left. Foye hit another 3-pointer to end the drought but the Clippers followed up with seven consecutive points to make it a 22-point margin with 3:44 to play.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Paul hit all four of his 3-point attempts and Redick also made four as Los Angeles went 13-of-34 overall from beyond the arc. ... Nuggets G Jameer Nelson (hip flexor) had two points in 13 minutes before exiting with an injury. … Denver had an 18-2 edge in fast-break points.
