Warriors 107, Wizards 76: Stephen Curry had 24 points and six assists as Golden State held visiting Washington to one field goal in the third quarter en route to winning its fifth straight game.

Marreese Speights scored 16 points off the bench and Draymond Green joined Curry on the bench the entire fourth quarter after totaling 13 points and six rebounds for the Warriors, who welcomed back second-leading scorer Klay Thompson after he missed the previous three games with an ankle sprain. Thompson finished with eight points in 18 minutes and Andrew Bogut contributed 12 rebounds for Golden State.

Bradley Beal scored 12 points and John Wall had 11 to lead the Wizards, who have lost three straight following a five-game winning streak. Kevin Seraphin and Ramon Sessions scored 12 points apiece to lead the reserves for Washington, which maintains a firm grip on fifth place in the East.

Golden State turned the tables on the Wizards in the third quarter, holding them without a field goal for nearly 11 minutes and outscoring them 29-8 to take an 81-57 lead into the fourth. The Warriors scored 22 of the first 25 points in the quarter to go up by 23 points as Washington shot 1-for-18 in the third.

The Warriors missed nine of their first 10 field-goal attempts to start the game but regrouped with a 14-0 run that put them up 17-10. The teams traded leads in the second quarter before the Warriors closed with an 8-3 run to take a 52-49 advantage into the half and they never trailed again.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Golden State F Harrison Barnes, who averaged 19.7 points in the three games Thompson was out, finished with seven. … Green shot 3-for-8 from 3-point range and the Warriors have won 15 straight and are 16-1 this season when Green makes at least three from beyond the arc. … Golden State finished 14-1 at home against Eastern Conference teams this season, the best such record in franchise history.
