Nets 129, Bucks 127 (3OT): Brook Lopez scored 32 points, including five in the final overtime, to go along with a season-high 18 rebounds and five blocked shots as Brooklyn outlasted visiting Milwaukee in triple overtime for the second time this season.

Thaddeus Young added 24 points and Joe Johnson had 20 points and seven assists for the Nets, who went 26-of-34 from the free-throw line. Bojan Bogdanovic led the reserves with 17 points and Alan Anderson added 13 for Brooklyn, which pulled within 1 1/2 games of Boston and Indiana for the eighth and final playoff spot in the East.

Khris Middleton led the way with 29 points while Giannis Antetokounmpo had 23 points and 14 rebounds for the Bucks, who pulled down 81 rebounds - including 38 on the offensive glass - which is the most in the NBA since 1984. Zaza Pachulia tallied 22 points and 21 rebounds -- 18 on the offensive boards -- while Ersan Ilyasova had 20 points for Milwaukee, which has seen its lead shrink to 1 1/2 games over Miami for the sixth seed.

Michael Carter-Williams scored two straight baskets to put the Bucks on top 117-114 before Johnson drained a clutch 3-pointer with 18 seconds left to force a third overtime. Lopez scored the first five points of the third OT to give the Nets a 122-117 advantage before Middleton connected from beyond the arc to trim the deficit to one, but Jarrett Jack sank a pair of free throws with 18 seconds left to preserve the victory.

Young nailed a 3-pointer during a 9-0 burst to put the Nets ahead 97-94 before Pachulia tipped in his own miss to give Milwaukee a 101-98 advantage. Johnson drained a clutch 3-pointer to even the score at 101 with 1:19 left in regulation and Antetokounmpo missed a potential game-winning jumper in the dying seconds to send the game to a first overtime, where Bogdanovic connected from downtown to give the Nets a 111-109 lead, but Antetokounmpo replied with a jumper to even the score with 15.8 seconds remaining and force a second overtime.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Bucks beat the Nets 122-118 in triple overtime on Nov. 19 at Barclay's Center . … Brooklyn's bench outscored Milwaukee's reserves 49-14. … Johnson and Young combined to go 7-of-11 from 3-point range.
