Spurs 114, Bucks 103: Tim Duncan recorded 19 points, seven assists, five rebounds and three blocked shots as visiting San Antonio downed Milwaukee for the sixth straight time.

Danny Green added 20 points and eight rebounds while Boris Diaw had 18 points for the Spurs, who are in seventh place in the Western Conference and stand one game behind both the Dallas Mavericks and Los Angeles Clippers. Tony Parker scored 15 points on 6-of-7 shooting and Kawhi Leonard had 14 for San Antonio, which handed out 27 assists on 38 made field goals.

Giannis Antetokounmpo produced 19 points and nine rebounds for the Bucks, who have dropped four straight to see their lead shrink to 2 1/2 games for sixth place in the Eastern Conference. Ersan Ilyasova tallied 17 points, Khris Middleton had 15 and Miles Plumlee pulled down a game-high 11 rebounds off the bench.

Parker and Duncan scored four points apiece during a 10-0 burst as the Spurs pulled ahead 76-57 before Jerryd Bayless connected from beyond the arc to trim the deficit to eight late in the third quarter. Duncan knocked down a jumper and finished at the rim to put San Antonio on top 107-91 and the Spurs were never threatened the rest of the way.

San Antonio trailed 28-27 after the first quarter before Green converted a three-point play to put the Spurs in front by six midway through the second stanza. Duncan keyed an 8-0 run to give San Antonio its first double-digit lead at 59-49 and the Spurs shot 62 percent in the second quarter to take a 63-54 advantage into the break.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Spurs have won five of the last six meetings in Milwaukee. … Bayless was assessed a flagrant 1 foul after shouldering San Antonio SG Marco Belinelli in the midsection on a 3-point attempt in the fourth quarter. … Diaw, Green and Belinelli combined to go 17-of-17 from the free-throw line.
