Bulls 103, Pacers 86: Nikola Mirotic came off the bench to record 25 points, nine rebounds and a pair of blocks as Chicago pulled away from visiting Indiana.

Mike Dunleavy matched a season high with five 3-pointers en route to 21 points and Pau Gasol scored 19 to go along with 12 rebounds for the Bulls, who won for only the second time in seven games. Tony Snell contributed 14 points and Aaron Brooks had 13 while Joakim Noah grabbed 14 rebounds and dished out seven assists for Chicago.

Solomon Hill led six players in double figures with 13 points and Roy Hibbert had 12 for the Pacers, who shot 39.5 percent and were outrebounded 52-38. Rodney Stuckey contributed 11 points while George Hill, C.J. Miles and Luis Scola each scored 10 for Indiana, which has lost three straight after winning seven in a row.

The Pacers trailed by one in the second quarter before Dunleavy scored 10 as the Bulls ran off 14 of the next 17 for a 12-point lead and settled for a 51-41 edge at intermission. Indiana was able to trim a 13-point deficit to 69-66 late in third quarter, but Mirotic had five as Chicago scored seven of the final nine for a 76-68 lead.

Two straight 3-pointers by C.J. Watson pulled the Pacers within 86-80 with 6:47 to go before Kirk Hinrich responded by draining one from behind the arc. Mirotic and Brooks followed with two free throws each to push the lead to 93-80 and, after Noah’s basket made it a 97-82 lead with 2:46 to go, the Bulls had the cushion they needed.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Noah has handed out five assists or more in 11 consecutive games. … Indiana F David West made only 2-of-10 from the field, but had a team-high seven assists. … Chicago’s All-Star G Jimmy Butler (elbow) missed his ninth straight game and F Taj Gibson (ankle) was held out for the 10th consecutive contest.
