Shved made a pair of free throws to put the Knicks in front 100-99 and they led by two with 14.7 seconds left in the extra session before Duncan missed his second attempt from the foul line and Shved kept his nerve once more from the charity stripe to preserve the victory.

Splitter scored six points as part of a 10-0 run to put the Spurs ahead 42-29 before Galloway drilled a 3-pointer and three jumpers during a 17-7 surge to pull the Knicks within 66-63 late in the third quarter.
