Celtics 93, Pacers 89: Tyler Zeller scored 18 points as visiting Boston held on to snap Indiana's seven-game winning streak.

Brandon Bass, Avery Bradley and Jae Crowder each scored 16 points for the Celtics, who have won a season-high four in a row and nine of 12 to pull within a half-game of Charlotte for the final playoff spot in the East. Evan Turner, who scored a season-high 30 points in a win over Orlando on Friday, was limited to four points on 1-of-7 shooting but had seven rebounds and seven assists.

George Hill poured in a season-high 30 points and had a game-high eight assists for the Pacers, who lead Charlotte by a half-game and Boston and Miami by a game. C.J. Miles scored 13 points while both Rodney Stuckey and C.J. Watson had 12 as Indiana lost at home for the first time since Feb. 9.

The Pacers were 8-of-21 from the field in the first quarter and missed their first six shots of the second before eventually falling down by 15 points late in the half. Miles had eight points in a 16-4 run that spanned halftime and pulled Indiana within 45-42, but the Celtics regained control, using a late 8-2 burst to carry a 67-60 lead into the fourth.

Marcus Smart and Crowder had back-to-back 3-pointers for an 80-68 lead before the Pacers rallied to within four, but Zeller scored twice and Bass hit a short jumper for an 86-79 advantage with 1:15 to go. Hill scored seven straight Indiana points and Stuckey buried a 3-pointer with 5.8 seconds left to make it 91-89, but Bass hit two at the line to ice it.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Celtics G Isaiah Thomas (back, elbow) missed his third straight game. ... Boston has won seven of its last eight when playing the second half of a back-to-back. ... Zeller, Crowder and Smart each had seven rebounds to help the Celtics win the battle of the boards 47-42.
