Lin found Davis for his second straight dunk and then split a pair of free throws to put the Lakers up 78-69 with 6:56 to play. Detroit went the first 6:16 of the third quarter without a point as the Lakers pushed ahead 57-50, and Los Angeles held a six-point edge heading into the final period.
