Suns 105, Magic 100: Brandon Knight recorded 28 points, seven assists and his third steal with five seconds remaining allowed visiting Phoenix to hold off Orlando's rally.

Markieff Morris contributed 23 points and P.J. Tucker had all of his 19 in the second half for the Suns, who trailed by as many as 15 in the first half. Eric Bledsoe chipped in with 13 points, nine assists, seven rebounds and three steals for Phoenix, which forced 21 turnovers.

Victor Oladipo led the way with a career-high 38 points on 15-of-25 shooting for the Magic, who dropped their fourth straight contest. Nikola Vucevic registered 18 points and Tobias Harris scored 11 while rookie Elfrid Payton added nine points, 10 assists and five steals for Orlando.

Oladipo scored eight straight to pull the Magic within three early in the fourth, but Tucker answered with three consecutive baskets for an 88-79 edge. Oladipo’s seven points in a row whittled the deficit to 97-96, but Morris made a jumper with 35.2 seconds left and Vucevic countered with a tip-in before Knight and Bledsoe combined for six free throws as the Suns held on.

Phoenix scored seven straight to tie the game at 29 before Orlando ran off 23 of the next 31 – six by Vucevic – for a 15-point bulge before settling for a 52-43 lead at intermission. The Magic led by eight before Tucker scored seven as the Suns went on a 19-4 run to take a 66-59 lead with 5 ½ minutes left in the third quarter.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Phoenix made 8-of-21 from 3-point range – 5-of-12 in the second half – and drained 23-of-27 free throws. … Orlando’s fourth-leading scorer, G Evan Fournier (hip), missed his third straight game but Magic rookie F Aaron Gordon (ankle) returned to the lineup and contributed four rebounds. … The Suns shot 38.5 percent from the field in the first half before making 12-of-20 in the third quarter with only two turnovers.
