Warriors 110, Spurs 99: Stephen Curry led the way with 25 points and 11 assists as Golden State earned a rare win over visiting San Antonio.

Klay Thompson added 20 points and Harrison Barnes scored 16 for the Warriors, who went 17-of-33 from 3-point range to pull to 3-22 in the last 25 regular-season meetings with the Spurs. Andre Iguodala scored 14 points and David Lee had 11 to lead the reserves as Golden State improved to 24-2 at home.

Aron Baynes collected 12 points and 10 rebounds and Kawhi Leonard also scored 12 for San Antonio, which dropped to 2-3 on its nine-game road trip. Boris Diaw scored 11 points but Tony Parker was held to two points on 0-of-4 shooting for the Spurs.

San Antonio shot 60 percent from the field in the first half but Curry scored the final six points of a 10-2 surge closing the second period that sent the Warriors into the break up 62-55. The Spurs, who were playing the second night of a back-to-back, went without a field goal for more than four minutes to begin the third quarter as Golden State pushed the advantage to 14 points.

Iguodala drained a pair of 3-pointers and Curry added another in an 11-0 run closing the third quarter that sent the Warriors into the fourth up 89-68. San Antonio pulled within 96-81 with 7:52 left before Thompson, Iguodala and Draymond Green hit 3-pointers on consecutive possessions and Golden State coasted to the finish.

GAME NOTEBOOK: San Antonio F Tim Duncan dropped to 50-7 against the Warriors during the regular season in his career. … Curry has scored at least 20 points in 11 straight games – tied for the longest such streak of his career. … Golden State earned its 32nd double-digit victory – tied for the most in franchise history (1975-76).
