Bulls 113, Cavaliers 98: Derrick Rose scored 30 points and handed out seven assists to help host Chicago win the NBA's final game before the All-Star break.

Pau Gasol recorded his 14th straight double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds and Tony Snell added 22 points while starting in place of Jimmy Butler, who was sidelined with a shoulder injury. Joakim Noah had 10 points, 15 boards and seven assists for the Bulls, who won for the first time in three meetings this season with the Cavaliers.

LeBron James scored 31 points for Cleveland, which was without power forward Kevin Love (eye). Kyrie Irving added 17 points, Timofey Mozgov had 13 and Tristan Thompson 10 as the Cavaliers lost for the second time in their last 16 games.

Snell drained a 3-pointer in the final seconds of the first quarter to give Chicago a 30-26 lead and scored to spark a 9-0 run midway through the second as the hosts claimed a 55-48 halftime advantage. The Bulls scored the first eight points of the third quarter - including a free throw after a technical foul on Mozgov - to open up a 15-point bulge and carried an 87-77 lead into the fourth after Rose sliced through the defense for a basket at the buzzer.

It was an 11-point gap following a jumper by James with 6:48 to go before Snell buried a 3-pointer to spark an 8-0 burst capped by Rose's basket that made it 105-86. Cleveland never pulled any closer than 12 points down the stretch.

GAME NOTEBOOK: James had four assists to surpass John Havlicek and move into second place on the NBA's all-time list for forwards, 17 behind Scottie Pippen (6,135). ... Mozgov and Thompson combined to go 10-of-11 from the floor after posting a 16-of-19 showing in Wednesday's win over Miami. ... James had eight turnovers to match the Bulls' team total.
