Raptors 123, Clippers 107: DeMar DeRozan had 24 points, nine rebounds and eight assists as Toronto bounced back from an early 20-point deficit against visiting Los Angeles to end a two-game losing streak.

Kyle Lowry added 21 points and Louis Williams finished with 18 off the bench, as both shot 3-for-6 from 3-point range for the Raptors. Four others scored in double figures, led by Greivis Vazquez with 17 on 4-for-7 from long range as Toronto shot 53.3 from the floor and 13-for-30 from beyond the arc.

Blake Griffin had 26 points and nine rebounds for the Clippers, who have lost three in a row for the first time since coach Doc Rivers took over at the start of last season. Chris Paul added 22 points and nine assists, Jamal Crawford scored 20 off the bench and Austin Rivers started in place of J.J. Redick (back spasms) and scored 12.

The Raptors trailed by as many as 20 in the first quarter but battled back to tie the score and then take their first lead with baskets on the first two possessions of the second half. Lowry’s basket kick-started an 8-0 run that gave the Raptors a 71-63 lead and another 8-0 burst later in the third quarter made it 79-65, and Los Angeles never got back within single digits.

Los Angeles scored 15 of the game’s first 17 points and expanded the lead to as much as 20 in the first quarter on a 3-pointer by Spencer Hawes with 2:33 still left in the opening quarter. The Clippers kept the advantage in double figures until Amir Johnson scored on back-to-back trips down the floor to trim the deficit to eight with 8:14 left in the half, and the Raptors continued to saw away, getting within two points at the break.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Clippers C DeAndre Jordan, the NBA rebounding leader coming in (13.6), battled a stomach virus during the game and briefly went to the locker room late in the third quarter before finishing with nine points and seven rebounds. …. Toronto swept the season series against the Clippers for the first time since the 2009-10 season. …. Toronto’s previous largest comeback this season was 18 points in a 17-point win against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Nov. 22.
