Grizzlies 102, Suns 101: Jeff Green converted a three-point play with 4.5 seconds remaining and Marc Gasol made a last-second blocked shot as Memphis closed with an 8-0 run to defeat host Phoenix and stretch its winning streak to seven games.

Mike Conley scored 23 points for the Grizzlies and Zach Randolph had 19 points and nine rebounds to fall short of extending his double-double streak to 13 contests. Gasol contributed 15 points, eight assists and three blocked shots and Green scored 12 points as Memphis defeated the Suns for the seventh straight time.

Isaiah Thomas scored all 24 of his points in the second half and Eric Bledsoe had 21 points, eight assists, seven rebounds and four steals for Phoenix. Goran Dragic scored 15 points and Markieff Morris had 14 points but Morris had his game-winning 16-foot attempt rejected by Gasol.

The Grizzlies held a nine-point lead early in the fourth quarter before Bledsoe’s basket pushed Phoenix ahead 90-89 with 5:41 remaining. The Suns used an 8-0 burst to take a seven-point lead with 3:31 to play and were again leading by seven after Thomas drained a 3-pointer with 1:49 left but Randolph scored four straight points and Gasol split two free throws before Green’s deciding three-point play.

Memphis led by as many as 10 points in the second quarter but Phoenix used a 9-0 roll to get back within a point and the Grizzlies led 49-44 at the break. It was tied at 57 in the third before Memphis used a 12-2 run to build a 10-point lead on Gasol’s two free throws with 3:33 left in the quarter and settled for a 77-72 lead entering the final stanza.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Memphis was 27-of-34 from the free-throw line, while the Suns were 11-of-18. … Phoenix had 12 steals with five players having two or more. … Grizzles SG Vince Carter (foot) sat out his second straight game.
