Cavaliers 101, Kings 90: Kevin Love had 23 points and 10 rebounds to lead host Cleveland to its season-high ninth straight win.

Kyrie Irving scored 21 points for the Cavaliers and LeBron James had 19 and a game-high seven assists in his return from a one-game layoff due to a sprained wrist. J.R. Smith added 16 points for Cleveland, which has also won six in a row against Western Conference teams.

DeMarcus Cousins had 21 points on 5-of-17 shooting while grabbing 13 rebounds and a season-high five steals for Sacramento, which has lost eight in a row. Rudy Gay chipped in 20 points - 14 in the first half - and nine rebounds as the Kings shot 35.7 percent and made only 3-of-18 3-pointers.

Love scored the final 12 points of the first quarter for the Cavaliers to help them claim a 30-20 advantage and the lead grew as high as 16 in the second. Tristan Thompson missed an alley-oop for Cleveland in the closing seconds before Darren Collison went the other way and canned a halfcourt shot at the buzzer to get Sacramento within 55-44.

Irving scored eight points during a 15-6 burst in a third quarter that put Cleveland up 70-52 and James drilled a 3-pointer in the closing seconds of the stanza to make it 86-65. Sacramento pulled as close as 12 points with five minutes to go before Irving made a pair at the line and Smith hit his fourth 3-pointer to help the Cavaliers cruise to the finish line.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Cousins was named to the Western Conference All-Star team as a replacement for injured Kobe Bryant. ... Cleveland's winning streak is its longest since a 13-game run during the 2009-10 season. ... F Omri Casspi scored 15 points off the bench for Sacramento while Thompson had six points and nine boards in a reserve role for Cleveland.
