Thunder 127, Magic 99: Kevin Durant finished with 21 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists as visiting Oklahoma City scored a franchise-record 79 in the first half en route to its third victory in four games.

Russell Westbrook contributed 17 points and six assists while Serge Ibaka scored 16 and grabbed eight rebounds for the Thunder, who shot a season-high 57.8 percent from the field. Dion Waiters scored 16, Reggie Jackson had 13 and Kendrick Perkins added 11 – all off the bench – as Oklahoma City started a five-game road trip.

Victor Oladipo led the way with 23 points while rookie Elfrid Payton scored 19 and dished out eight assists for Orlando, which shot 39.8 percent from the floor with 18 turnovers. Nikola Vucevic recorded 16 points and rookie Aaron Gordon scored eight in his first game back after missing two months with a fractured left foot.

Ibaka drained two 3-pointers as the Thunder scored the first 13 points of the game in a little over three minutes and Waiters made another from behind the arc to end the opening quarter for a 37-20 lead. Oklahoma City quickly added to its advantage with seven straight to start the second and Westbrook’s dunk made it 73-35 with 3:05 left before intermission.

Durant scored 16 on 7-of-8 from the field in the first half as the Thunder shot 72.7 percent for a 79-45 bulge – the most points the Magic allowed in a first half in franchise history. Orlando made three straight 3-pointers to begin the second half, but Ibaka answered with a trey and the Magic never got closer than 25 the rest of the way.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Thunder SG Andre Roberson matched his career high with 10 points, including 2-of-3 from behind the arc. … Orlando F Tobias Harris missed his fifth consecutive game with an ankle injury. … Westbrook and Durant each picked up technical fouls in the third quarter for arguing with the officials and Vucevic was called for one when he pushed Oklahoma City C Steven Adams after the whistle.
