Clippers 117, Kings 108: Blake Griffin scored 30 points and Matt Barnes matched his season high with 26 points as visiting Los Angeles defeated Sacramento.

J.J. Redick scored 18 points and Jamal Crawford scored nine of his 13 points in the fourth quarter as the Clippers won in Sacramento for the fourth consecutive time. Chris Paul added 12 points and nine assists while struggling with 4-of-13 shooting as Los Angeles won for the seventh time in 10 games.

Jason Thompson scored a season-high 23 points and grabbed a career-best 22 rebounds for the Kings, who played without star center DeMarcus Cousins (ankle). Rudy Gay scored 22 points and Darren Collison added 17 for Sacramento, which has lost 14 of its last 19 contests.

Crawford knocked down a 3-pointer to give the Clippers a 102-91 lead with 5:50 to play before Sacramento went on an 8-2 run to cut its deficit to five. Griffin knocked down two shots and Paul hit one to push the lead to 110-99 with 2:06 remaining and Los Angeles protected the lead.

Barnes scored 22 first-half points for the Clippers and Thompson had 13 points and 13 rebounds for the Kings in a contest that was tied at 52 at the break. Los Angeles went on an 11-0 surge midway through the third quarter to open up an 11-point lead and later led by 13 before Sacramento closed with a 12-4 burst to trail 83-78 entering the final stanza.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Kings collected 22 offensive rebounds while holding a 54-34 edge on the boards. … Barnes was 10-of-15 from the field, made four 3-point baskets, grabbed 10 rebounds and recorded three steals. … Sacramento F Carl Landry (wrist) sat out his second straight game.
