Pistons 98, Pacers 96: Brandon Jennings matched a career high with eight 3-pointers en route to a season-high 37 points and Andre Drummond followed a Jennings miss with three-tenths of a second left as visiting Detroit won its seventh straight road game.

Detroit led by five with three minutes to play, but Indiana drew even after a David West jumper and free throw with 54 ticks remaining. After Jennings missed a jumper and Roy Hibbert was called for a charge against Drummond, Jennings got into the lane and Hibbert came over to help leaving Drummond free for the tip.

Jennings scored 28 points in a 15 1/2-minute stretch with the aid of seven 3-pointers to turn a 10-point second-quarter deficit into a three-point lead through thee quarters. Drummond finish with 16 points and 16 rebounds for the Pistons, who rebounded from a poor performance against New Orleans to win for the 10th time in 12 games.

Hibbert scored 14 points for the Pacers, who lost their third straight game. Rookie Damjan Rudez scored a career-high 13 points and West chipped in 13 for Indiana, which now goes on the road for a season-long five games.

Jennings scored 19 points in the third quarter with the help of four 3-pointers and 5-of-5 from the foul line as the Pistons overcame an early 11-point deficit to take a 79-76 edge into the fourth. In the first half, Detroit got 14 points and 4-of-4 shooting from behind the arc from Jennings and 11 points and 11 rebounds from Drummond, but Rudez scored 10 points off the bench as Indiana overcame a nine-point first-quarter deficit to lead by 10 in the second before settling for a 51-49 edge at the break.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Detroit coach Stan Van Gundy was unhappy with the Pistons' three offensive rebounds in the loss to New Orleans on Wednesday, and his club responded with six in the first quarter and 15 for the game. … Drummond bounced back from a two-point, two-rebound performance against the Pelicans. … The Pacers had eight players score between eight and 14 points.
