Raptors 100, 76ers 84: DeMar DeRozan scored 20 points in his return from a 21-game absence as host Toronto pulled away from Philadelphia.

DeRozan, who had been sidelined since November with a groin injury, was 9-of-14 from the floor and scored eight points in the fourth quarter. Lou Williams scored 19 points off the bench and Kyle Lowry added 18 points and 12 assists for the Raptors, who improved to 2-2 on their six-game homestand.

Michael Carter-Williams scored a season-high 29 points to lead Philadelphia, which made 3-of-19 3-pointers. Nerlens Noel chipped in 12 points and eight rebounds while K.J. McDaniels had 10 points and eight boards as the 76ers lost their sixth straight in the series.

DeRozan had a basket and an assist in a game-opening 13-0 run and Toronto led 34-19 after one quarter, but Noel collected eight points and five rebounds in the second to help Philadelphia pull within four at intermission. The 76ers were within seven midway through the third before a DeRozan free throw started a 6-0 burst that lasted nearly five minutes and the Raptors carried a 71-61 lead into the fourth.

Williams opened the final period with a four-point play to make it a 14-point game but Philadelphia worked the deficit down to 79-73 with under eight minutes remaining. DeRozan answered with a layup and later added six straight points for Toronto, which cruised to the finish line.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Philadelphia was without leading scorer G Tony Wroten (knee) and third-leading scorer F Robert Covington (shoulder). ... Lowry and Williams had four 3-pointers apiece as Toronto was 10-of-29 from 3-point range. ... Raptors F Amir Johnson had a season-high 16 rebounds to go with 10 points.
