Hawks 106, Pistons 103: Al Horford racked up 19 points and 16 rebounds and Jeff Teague added 14 points and 11 assists as visiting Atlanta held off a furious rally to snap Detroit's seven-game winning streak.

Paul Millsap scored 17 points and DeMarre Carroll added 13 for the Hawks, who have won seven straight and 21 of 23. Thabo Sefolosha contributed 12 points off the bench and Kyle Korver scored 11 as Atlanta set a franchise mark with its eighth straight road win.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope scored 16 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter and Kyle Singler added 16 points for the Pistons, who lost for the first time since waiving free-agent bust Josh Smith on Dec. 22. Greg Monroe collected 15 points and 12 rebounds, Anthony Tolliver added 15 points off the bench and Brandon Jennings tallied 14 points and eight assists.

Atlanta's lead was as large as 23 points in the first half and the Hawks took a 64-45 lead to the break. The Pistons shot their way back into it from outside, pulling within nine on a Jennings 3-pointer with 4:58 left in the third quarter before the Hawks stretched the margin back to 90-75 entering the fourth.

Another flurry of 3-pointers got Detroit back within single digits before Carroll picked off a Monroe pass and fed Korver for a 3 to make it 105-95 with 2:11 remaining. Caldwell-Pope connected on back-to-back triples to cut it to 105-101 with 1:02 left, but he misfired on three more 3-point attempts in the final minute, including one at the buzzer, as Atlanta held on.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Teague saw the end of his career-high streak of six straight games with 20 or more points. … Pistons C Andre Drummond (illness) left early in the third quarter and finished with four points and five rebounds. … Detroit set a franchise record for 3-point attempts (43), connecting on 13.
