Pelicans 110, Suns 106: Tyreke Evans scored 24 points - including eight in the final 1:31- and pulled down eight rebounds as host New Orleans snapped a four-game losing streak to Phoenix.

Jrue Holiday added 21 points and six assists for the Pelicans, who survived an 18-of-29 performance from the free-throw line. Anthony Davis collected 19 points and 18 rebounds while Ryan Anderson also tallied 19 points on 8-of-10 shooting from the floor.

Goran Dragic scored 22 points while Eric Bledsoe chipped in with 21 points and eight boards for the Suns, who saw their six-game winning streak come to an end. Gerald Green had 17 points off the bench and Markieff Morris added 13 for Phoenix.

Anderson connected from beyond the arc to put the Pelicans in front 91-85 before Morris sparked a 9-2 spurt to put the Suns back on top 98-97 with 3:13 remaining. Bledsoe scored at the rim to even the score at 100 before Evans scored eight straight points for New Orleans to make it 108-104 and Jimmer Fredette sank two free throws with 10 seconds left to preserve the victory.

Evans scored 12 early points to help the Pelicans jump out to a 14-point advantage before the Suns used a 10-2 run to trim the deficit to 31-25. New Orleans led 55-53 at intermission and Holiday scored eight straight points to put the Pelicans ahead 69-62 before Dragic replied with seven consecutive points as part of an 11-0 burst to give Phoenix a 77-73 edge.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Pelicans won the battle of the boards 49-38 and outscored the Suns 58-48 in the paint. … New Orleans SF John Salmons missed the game for personal reasons. … Marcus Morris picked up a technical foul for the third straight game after arguing a foul call in the second quarter.
