Bulls 92, Pacers 90: Jimmy Butler buried a go-ahead 3-pointer and finished with 27 points and nine rebounds as visiting Chicago overcame a furious rally and held off Indiana.

Pau Gasol added 20 points while Derrick Rose struggled to 17 on 5-of-20 shooting for the Bulls, who have won seven straight. Mike Dunleavy grabbed a season-high 10 rebounds to go along with eight points for Chicago, which squandered a 21-point lead late in the second half.

Chris Copeland scored 17 points as the Pacers rallied all the way back to grab the lead before running out of steam. C.J. Miles and George Hill added 11 points apiece while David West, Solomon Hill and Luis Scola each scored 10.

Copeland scored 13 points as the Pacers bridged the third and fourth quarters with a 32-8 run while holding the Bulls without a field goal for over 11 minutes to take an 86-83 lead. Gasol snapped the drought with 3:27 remaining and found Butler for a 3-pointer and a 92-90 lead with 1:07 to play as Chicago recovered and held Indiana off.

Rose’s 3-pointer gave the Bulls a 43-31 lead with 2:23 left in the second quarter and it remained a 12-point gap at the break. Butler’s putback extended the advantage out to 59-41 and the lead reached 21 points when Dunleavy completed a three-point play with 2:32 left in the third quarter before the drought began.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Bulls went 2-of-21 from the field in the fourth quarter and shot 34.5 percent in the contest. … Pacers G C.J. Watson missed a pair of go-ahead 3-point attempts in the final 31 seconds and finished with four points on 1-of-7 shooting. … Butler has scored at least 27 points in five of the last seven games.
