Hawks 127, Cavaliers 98: Shelvin Mack went 6-for-6 from 3-point range and scored a career-high 24 points and Al Horford added 20 points as visiting Atlanta blew out Cleveland.

Dennis Schroder started in place of leading scorer Jeff Teague (hamstring) and recorded his first career double-double with 10 points and 10 assists for the Hawks, who shot 64.5 percent overall and were 16-of-28 from 3-point range. Mike Scott scored 15 points off the bench, Paul Millsap added 14 points and eight rebounds and DeMarre Carroll contributed 13 points as Atlanta won for the 11th time in 12 games.

LeBron James and Dion Waiters each scored 21 points to lead the Cavaliers, who had won nine straight against Eastern Conference opponents. Kevin Love collected 13 points, 10 rebounds and six assists but Kyrie Irving was limited to nine points on 4-of-9 shooting as Cleveland had its six-game home winning streak snapped.

The Cavaliers led 34-26 after one quarter and had the margin as wide as 12 points early in the second before Atlanta came roaring back. Mack's fifth 3-pointer of the first half put the Hawks ahead 55-52 with 3:26 left in the half, and they never trailed again.

After taking a 65-60 lead into the break on Scott's buzzer-beater from long range, Atlanta blitzed Cleveland with an 18-5 run in the third quarter and took a 95-75 advantage into the fourth. The Cavaliers never got closer than 18 in the final period, and Kent Bazemore scored six points during an 11-0 Hawks run that put to rest any notion of a comeback.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Atlanta SG Kyle Korver made his only free-throw attempt and has hit 45 straight from the line, two shy of the franchise record set by Tom McMillen in 1978-79. … The Hawks' nine 3-point field goals in the second quarter are a club record for any quarter. … Atlanta improved to 14-1 when holding opponents under 100 points.
