Mavericks 107, Knicks 87: Dirk Nowitzki led a balanced attack with 16 points as visiting Dallas continued to dominate New York.

Monta Ellis scored 14 points and Chandler Parsons returned from a one-game absence due to a back injury to chip in 13 for the Mavericks, who have won 22 of the last 27 meetings overall and 10 of the last 13 in Madison Square Garden. Devin Harris added 11 points and fellow reserve J.J. Barea had 10 in a wire-to-wire win.

Carmelo Anthony paced the Knicks with 26 points and a season-high four steals but had little support in his team's 12th loss in 13 games. Tim Hardaway Jr. added 14 points while missing all eight of his 3-point attempts and Amar'e Stoudemire contributed 10 points.

Parsons hit two early 3-pointers and Nowitzki's three-point play capped a 26-11 burst in game's first six-plus minutes before the Knicks clawed closer, pulling within four in the second before settling for a 54-44 halftime deficit. It remained a 10-point margin deep into the third but Nowitzki fed Barea for a basket and then made three free throws after being fouled beyond the arc to help Dallas go up 81-68 entering the fourth.

Barea nailed consecutive triples for an 89-75 advantage with nine minutes to go and Harris added another as part of an 11-2 run. The lead hit 20 points for the first time on Richard Jefferson's 3-pointer midway through the fourth and the Mavericks were able to keep their starters on the bench for the stretch run.
