The Warriors battled back to take a 110-109 lead on Marreese Speights’ put-back with 1:34 left, and Speights' free throw knotted it at 111 before Green blocked a pair of shots at the other end and each team missed a final shot to send it to overtime.

The Warriors took a 60-51 lead into the half and Thompson’s 3-pointer made it an 82-72 gap just past the midway point of the third quarter. Evans had four points and three assists as the Pelicans responded with a 13-0 run, and it went into the fourth knotted at 89.
