Spurs 123, Timberwolves 101: Marco Belinelli scored a season-high 20 points and dished out six assists as host San Antonio made short work of Minnesota.

Kawhi Leonard and Cory Joseph each added 18 points while Boris Diaw tallied 17 for the Spurs, who have won 10 of their last 11 games. Tim Duncan contributed 13 points and 10 rebounds for his third straight double-double for San Antonio, which shot 57.3 percent from the floor and 22-of-25 from the free-throw line.

Zach LaVine led the way with 22 points and a season-best 10 assists for the Timberwolves, who have lost five games in a row. Shabazz Muhammad scored 20 points while Anthony Bennett recorded 14 points and 10 rebounds for Minnesota, who lost the battle of the boards 43-33.

Leonard connected from beyond the arc to put the Spurs in front 39-26 and Danny Green's dunk extended their lead to 20 late in the second quarter. Belinelli nailed a jumper just before the halftime buzzer sounded and scored 17 points to give San Antonio a 68-51 advantage at intermission.

Joseph sparked a 10-0 surge to put the Spurs on top by 22 with 6:18 left in the third quarter and they pulled ahead 91-64 after Diaw's short jumper. Joseph converted a three-point play to give San Antonio a 109-81 lead as the Spurs handily beat Minnesota for the fourth straight time.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Spurs went 7-of-18 from 3-point land while the Timberwolves finished 6-of-16. … San Antonio PG Tony Parker (hamstring) and SG Manu Ginobili (shoulder) were inactive. … The Spurs handed out 30 assists on 47 made field goals.
