Clippers 113, Hornets 92: Blake Griffin scored 22 points to go with season-highs of 16 rebounds and nine assists as visiting Los Angeles sent Charlotte to its sixth consecutive loss.

Chris Paul also scored 22 and dished out 15 assists for the Clippers, who shot 51.1 percent from the floor while rebounding from a lopsided defeat at Memphis on Sunday. Jamal Crawford added 21 points off the bench, J.J. Redick scored 17 and DeAndre Jordan contributed 11 points and 12 rebounds for Los Angeles.

Cody Zeller scored a career-high 17 points off the bench to lead Charlotte, while Al Jefferson collected 16 points and nine rebounds. Kemba Walker added 15 points and six assists, but backcourt mate Lance Stephenson was limited to three points on 1-of-8 shooting as the Hornets went 2-for-20 from 3-point range.

The Clippers saw their three-point halftime lead trimmed to one early in the third quarter before Griffin scored eight points during a quick 12-2 burst to gain some separation. Charlotte cut it back to 68-61 on Walker's layup with 4:37 left, but Hedo Turkoglu answered with a 3-pointer to set off a 7-0 spurt for a 14-point advantage.

The Hornets inched within 78-70 entering the fourth and they got as close as six points early in the final stanza before Crawford's 3-pointer and Griffin's driving bucket pushed it to 93-82 with 5:20 left. Charlotte didn't get closer than nine the rest of the way as Los Angeles outscored the Hornets 18-6 over the final four minutes.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Crawford (1,723) moved past Dale Ellis for 10th on the NBA's all-time list for 3-point field goals made, while Paul (6,241) moved past Jerry West for 25th on the NBA's all-time list for assists. … Charlotte SG Gary Neal left in the third quarter with a bruised left shoulder. … Hornets SF Marvin Williams shot his first free throws of the season in the second quarter, going to the line for the first time in 15 games and more than 360 minutes on the floor.
