Magic 91, 76ers 89: Tobias Harris scored a team-high 18 points, including a 21-foot jumper at the buzzer, as visiting Orlando edged Philadelphia for its first victory of the season.

Nikola Vucevic contributed 17 points while Channing Frye scored 13 and grabbed 11 rebounds as the Magic beat the 76ers for the ninth time in 11 meetings. Ben Gordon chipped in with 15 points off the bench and rookie point guard Elfrid Payton added eight points, six rebounds, five assists and four steals for Orlando.

Tony Wroten led the way with 27 points and Brandon Davies scored a career-high 20 for Philadelphia, which is 0-5 for the first time since 2001-02. K.J. McDaniels registered 12 points off the bench and Hollis Thompson had a team-high nine rebounds for the 76ers.

Gordon recorded six straight points for an 83-77 lead early in the fourth and Philadelphia battled back to tie it at 85 on Wroten’s basket with 2:13 left. Wroten made two free throws, but Payton scored off a rebound and set up Harris for a basket before Henry Sims’ jumper tied it with 4.6 seconds left to set up Harris’ heroics.

The Magic collected 17 of their 24 turnovers in the first half, but shot 56 percent from the field and received 12 points from Vucevic to forge a 52-52 tie at intermission. Davies scored five straight to give Philadelphia a 69-61 lead before Orlando answered with a 12-2 run – five by Vucevic – and the teams went to the fourth quarter tied at 75.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Magic are 2-28 on the road in the 2014 calendar year, with the only two wins coming at Philadelphia. … 76ers C Nerlens Noel left the game in the third quarter with a sprained left ankle and did not return, finishing with four points, three assists and two rebounds in 17 minutes. … Orlando was without PF Kyle O’Quinn for the fourth straight game due to a left ankle injury.
