Raptors 100, Thunder 88: DeMar DeRozan scored 16 points to help host Toronto defeat shorthanded Oklahoma City.

Patrick Patterson tallied 14 points for the Raptors, who bounced back from Sunday’s loss to Miami. Tyler Hansbrough and Lou Williams scored 12 points apiece and Greivis Vasquez had 10.

Serge Ibaka had 25 points and 11 rebounds and Reggie Jackson added 13 points and 14 assists for the Thunder, who drop to 1-4. Lance Thomas added 14 points for Oklahoma City, which had just eight available players and was again without stars Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook.

Toronto led by three entering the fourth quarter and broke the game open as Williams scored nine points during a 17-6 burst for a 90-76 edge with 6:33 to go. The contest was essentially put away when Hansbrough made four free throws in a 22-second span, the latter two with 1:57 left after Thunder guard Sebastian Telfair drew a flagrant-2 foul and was ejected for hitting Hansbrough in the face with an open-hand swing.

Oklahoma City led by as many as 10 points early in the second quarter and took a 52-51 lead into the break. The Raptors took a 62-60 edge on Patterson’s 3-pointer with 6:43 left in the third quarter and held a 73-70 advantage entering the final stanza.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Thunder G Andre Roberson sat out after injuring his foot on Monday and F Perry Jones (knee) left early in the third quarter. … Raptors F Amir Johnson (ankle) missed his second consecutive game, while C Jonas Valanciunas departed late in the second quarter after being struck in the face. … Oklahoma City committed 21 turnovers, leading to 30 Toronto points.
