Mavericks 118, Celtics 113: Chandler Parsons scored 29 points and Dirk Nowitzki added 27 as host Dallas held off a late rally by Boston to secure its third consecutive win.

Monta Ellis chipped in 14 points, including four in the final 27 seconds for the Mavericks, who went 14-of-25 from 3-point range. Devin Harris scored 12 points off the bench while Tyson Chandler grabbed 12 rebounds for Dallas, which led by as many as 31.

Jeff Green led the way with a game-high 35 points for the Celtics, who turned the ball over 11 times in the first half. Avery Bradley scored a career-best 32 points and eight rebounds while Rajon Rondo dished out 15 assists for Boston, which scored 72 points in the final two quarters.

Parsons and Nowitzki combined for 30 points and drained all six of their 3-point attempts as Dallas shot a sizzling 63.4 percent from the field in the first half to take a 67-41 lead into the break. The Celtics scored the first nine points of the second half and Bradley later sparked a 12-2 surge to cut the deficit to eight with under five minutes left in the third quarter.

Boston pulled within 107-104 after Marcus Smart knocked down a 3-pointer before the Mavericks regained control with a 7-0 spurt with 2:20 left in the final frame. The Celtics kept fighting and closed the gap to 114-113, but Ellis hit a clutch jumper with 27 seconds left in the game and Green missed from beyond the arc in the waning moments to seal Boston's fate.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Dallas F Al-Farouq Aminu scored five points in the first two quarters before leaving the game with a knee injury.… The Mavericks have beaten the Celtics four straight times at American Airlines Center. … Boston went 11-of-31 from the 3-point line after finishing just 1-for-25 in the loss to the Houston Rockets on Saturday.
