Pacers 93, Heat 90:
Paul George scored 21 of his 37 points in the fourth quarter as Indiana held off visiting Miami to stay alive in the Eastern Conference finals.

David West collected 19 points and nine rebounds and split four free throws in the final 13 seconds to help the Pacers put it away. Lance Stephenson scored 12 points and Roy Hibbert collected 10 points and 13 rebounds for Indiana, which will try to force a Game 7 when it returns to Miami for Game 6 on Friday.

LeBron James scored a career playoff-low seven points in 24 minutes while dealing with foul trouble for the Heat, who shot just eight free throws. Dwyane Wade and Rashard Lewis scored 18 points apiece and Chris Bosh had 20 and 10 boards but missed a go-ahead 3-point attempt in the final seconds.

The Pacers went up 77-66 when George stole a pass from James and went the other way for a dunk with 8:52 left but the Heat clawed their way back, knotting it at 81 when James buried a 3-pointer with 3:50 to play. George hit 3-pointers on back-to-back possessions to put Indiana up 91-87 with 46 seconds left but James blocked a layup attempt and Lewis knocked down a 3-pointer to keep Miami alive.

The Pacers controlled the pace early before the Heat took over in the second quarter despite James sitting out most of the period and ended up taking a 42-33 lead into the half. Miami led by as much as 11 points with just over eight minutes left in the third quarter before James drew his fifth foul and Indiana found a rhythm, using a 15-2 run to take a 52-50 lead and going into the fourth with a 64-57 edge when George buried a 3-pointer at the buzzer.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Miami F Chris Andersen (thigh contusion) missed his second straight game. … James’ 24 minutes were also a career postseason low and he went 2-of-10 from the floor. … Lewis went 6-of-9 from 3-point range to lead Miami’s 15-of-31 effort from beyond the arc while the Pacers struggled to 6-of-21 from long range.
