Warriors 100, Grizzlies 93:
Stephen Curry collected 33 points and eight assists and led a 14-0 run closing the game as Golden State stormed back to fend off visiting Memphis.

Marreese Speights recorded 15 points and eight rebounds and Klay Thompson scored 14 points for the Warriors, who stayed within a game of the Portland Trail Blazers for the No. 5 spot in the Western Conference. Draymond Green and Jermaine O’Neal combined for 22 points and 15 rebounds off the bench to lead the Golden State reserves.

Zach Randolph scored 21 points and Mike Conley added 20 for the Grizzlies, who dropped back into sole possession of eighth place in the West, a half-game ahead of Dallas. Marc Gasol scored 17 points as Memphis had a three-game winning streak come to an end.

Randolph’s basket with four minutes left gave the Grizzlies a 93-86 lead before the Warriors began to mount a comeback, taking a 96-93 lead on Curry’s 3-pointer with 1:21 to play. Curry added a floater with 30 seconds remaining and Thompson capped off the game-ending run with a pair of free throws.

Curry’s layup with one second left in the first half sent the Warriors into the break with a 53-52 lead. Randolph scored six points in a 9-0 run that put the Grizzlies up 66-58, but Golden State fought back to take a three-point lead into the fourth quarter.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Warriors F David Lee (hamstring) missed the game and Andrew Bogut left in the first quarter with a pelvis contusion and did not return. … Memphis dropped to 1-1 on a five-game road trip that continues in Portland on Sunday. … Golden State F Andre Iguodala (knee) returned from a three-game absence and scored five points in 29 minutes.
