Raptors 105, Celtics 103: Amir Johnson hit the go-ahead layup with 7.1 seconds remaining as host Toronto defeated Boston to secure its first playoff berth since 2008.

Johnson converted a Kyle Lowry miss after the Celtics had drawn even on a Rajon Rondo layup with 28.9 seconds left. Jared Sullinger then misfired on a potential game-winning 3-point attempt at the buzzer as Toronto remained 2 1/2 games in front of the Brooklyn Nets in the Atlantic Division race.

DeMar DeRozan led all scorers with 30 points for the Raptors, while Terrence Ross added 17 and Greivis Vasquez 15. Jerryd Bayless had 20 points to lead the Celtics, who were swept in their home-and-home series with Toronto and have dropped three straight overall.

The Raptors turned a narrow halftime lead into a double-digit advantage on DeRozan's three-point play with 3:04 remaining in the third quarter, and Vasquez followed with a 3-pointer to send Toronto into the fourth with an 85-73 edge. DeRozan scored Toronto's first 10 points of the final quarter to fend off a Boston surge, but the Celtics eventually overwhelmed the Raptors with a 15-2 run capped by a Kelly Olynyk layup to set up the drama-filled finish.

Toronto overcame early foul trouble from Lowry and DeRozan, riding 10 points from Jonas Valanciunas and nine from Ross to a 32-26 first-quarter lead. The advantage grew to nine on a DeRozan driving layup midway through the second period, but the Celtics countered with a 13-3 run highlighted by a Jeff Green dunk to trim the deficit to 56-53 going into the break.
