Grizzlies 91, Jazz 87: Zach Randolph had 22 points and 13 rebounds as visiting Memphis rallied from 16 points down in the third quarter to beat Utah.

Mike Conley added 19 points and six assists and Marc Gasol finished with 18 points and seven rebounds for the Grizzlies, who moved a game behind sixth-place Golden State in the Western Conference standings. Mike Miller and Nick Calathes paced the Memphis reserves with nine points each.

Derrick Favors had 22 points and 10 rebounds and Gordon Hayward had 18 points to lead five starters in double figures for the Jazz. Richard Jefferson scored 15 points, Trey Burke contributed 11 points and 10 assists and Enes Kanter had 11 points and 15 rebounds for Utah.

Randolph made two free throws with 11 seconds remaining to give the Grizzlies a four-point edge and the victory was sealed when Burke missed a 3-pointer on the other end. Memphis had scored the first four points of the fourth quarter to trim the deficit to five and later used a 12-0 run to move ahead 89-84 with 59 seconds left.

Hayward scored the last five points of the first quarter as the Jazz took a 25-17 lead into the second and they continued to maintain the advantage, stretching it to 50-40 at the half. The lead ballooned to 16 just before the midway point of the third quarter, but the Grizzlies managed to get back within single digits to start the fourth.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Jazz played their third straight game without second-leading scorer Alec Burks (sprained left ankle). … Memphis G Courtney Lee, who averaged 11 field-goal attempts per game in February, missed his only two shots and has combined for six field-goal attempts in the last three games. … Memphis G Tony Allen, who missed Monday’s win against the Minnesota Timberwolves with an illness, shot 0-for-5 and went scoreless in 10 minutes.
