Cavaliers 103, Warriors 94: Spencer Hawes collected 22 points and 13 rebounds as Cleveland dominated the middle of the game to upend host Golden State.

Dion Waiters scored 18 points off the bench and Kyrie Irving recorded 16 points, four assists and four steals as the Cavaliers picked up back-to-back road wins. Luol Deng added 16 points for Cleveland, which outscored the Warriors 68-39 in the second and third quarters.

Stephen Curry contributed 27 points and eight assists as Golden State dropped its second straight. Draymond Green chipped in 18 points and nine rebounds off the bench and David Lee scored 16 points for the Warriors.

Golden State raced out to a fast start and back-to-back 3-pointers from Andre Iguodala pushed the lead to 20-4 midway through the first quarter before the advantage swelled to 18 early in the second. Waiters scored 10 points in a 23-2 run to give Cleveland a 41-38 lead before the Warriors battled back to take a 53-52 edge into the break.

Curry scored Golden State’s first 12 points of the third to keep his team in the game before the Cavaliers closed the period with an 18-6 burst to take an 84-71 lead into the final period. The Warriors got within 86-76 with 9:11 remaining, but Irving and Waiters combined on a 6-0 run to help Cleveland put it away.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Golden State G Klay Thompson missed the game to attend his grandfather’s funeral. … Former Warriors G Jarrett Jack started for Cleveland and scored nine points on 4-of-5 shooting in his first trip back since leaving the team last summer. … The Cavaliers pulled back within 3 1/2 games of the Atlanta Hawks for the No. 8 spot in the Eastern Conference.
