Spurs 119, Lakers 85:
Danny Green scored 15 points on five 3-pointers as host San Antonio rolled over Los Angeles for its ninth straight victory.

Matt Bonner scored 13 points off the bench and fellow reserves Aron Baynes and Marco Belinelli added 12 apiece as the Spurs built a 27-point halftime lead and substituted liberally. Backups Cory Joseph, with 11 points, and Jeff Ayres, with 10, also scored in double digits for San Antonio.

Pau Gasol had 18 points and 11 rebounds and Jodie Meeks scored 15 points for the Lakers, who lost for the fifth time in six games. Kent Bazemore added 10 points for Los Angeles, which shot 34.1 percent from the field and 4-of-21 from 3-point range.

The Spurs topped 100 points for the eighth time during the nine-game winning streak in which six of the victories have been by double digits. San Antonio has a one-game lead over Oklahoma City in the Western Conference race with 17 games remaining.

San Antonio began pulling away early when the Lakers missed 12 consecutive field-goal attempts over an 8 1/2-minute stretch that began midway through the opening quarter. The Spurs led by 22 early in the second quarter, stretched it to 28 just past the midway point and cruised into the break with a 61-34 lead and continued the assault in the second half.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Spurs PF Tim Duncan played just 15 minutes and PG Tony Parker played only 14. … The Lakers were outrebounded 64-37 and allowed San Antonio to collect 18 offensive boards. … The Spurs’ bench scored 76 points compared to 43 for the starters.
