Raptors 99, Kings 87: Terrence Ross led a balanced attack with 18 points as Toronto easily handled visiting Sacramento and spoiled Rudy Gay's return to the Air Canada Centre.

Ross scored all of his points from long range, going 6-of-8 from beyond the arc as the Raptors split the season series with the Kings. DeMar DeRozan and Patrick Patterson had 15 points apiece while Jonas Valanciunas added 14 and Kyle Lowry 12.

DeMarcus Cousins overcame early foul trouble to lead all scorers with 24 points. Gay added 15 in his first visit to Toronto since being traded by the Raptors in a December blockbuster.

Toronto built a 29-19 lead through one quarter, and took advantage of Cousins' extended absence to fend off a Kings rally. Cousins picked up his third foul with 7:03 remaining in the half, and could only watch as Ross and Lowry knocked down consecutive 3-pointers to help the Raptors carry a 51-44 edge into the break.

The Raptors ran away with it in the third quarter, getting 3-pointers from Ross and Patterson just over two minutes apart to stretch the lead to 12 and finishing the period on an 8-3 run capped by a Patterson jumper to lead 80-63 entering the fourth. Valanciunas stemmed a final Sacramento surge with back-to-back baskets, and the Toronto cruised from there.
