Bulls 105, Pistons 94: Joakim Noah recorded his second triple-double in three games and D.J. Augustin scored 26 points off the bench as visiting Chicago picked up its 10th win in 12 games.

Noah finished with 11 rebounds, 11 assists and 10 points to pick up his sixth career triple-double for the Bulls, who shot 53.8 percent. Taj Gibson had 14 of his 22 points in the second quarter and Jimmy Butler finished with 18 points and 12 rebounds.

Greg Monroe scored 27 points and Josh Smith collected 15 points, nine rebounds and six blocked shots for Detroit. Kyle Singler chipped in 16 points and Andre Drummond had 15 as the Pistons fell for the eighth time in 10 games.

Brandon Jennings had a layup to cap a 10-0 run that bridged the first and second quarters, giving Detroit a 31-19 lead, but the Bulls owned the rest of the period and entered the break up by five. Monroe scored eight points in the third quarter to cut the Pistons' deficit to 71-70 going into the fourth.

Augustin scored the first seven points of the final stanza and Butler's dunk gave Chicago an 82-72 advantage with 8:23 left. Rodney Stuckey stemmed the tide with a basket for Detroit before the Bulls pulled away with a 7-0 burst capped by an Augustin 3-pointer that made it 89-74, and the lead remained at least nine the rest of the way.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Chicago's bench outscored Detroit's reserves by a 50-12 margin. ... Jennings had nine points and nine assists. ... Chicago opens a season-long six-game homestand Friday against Memphis.
