Hawks 107, Knicks 98: Mike Scott recorded a career-high 30 points off the bench and Jeff Teague added 28 as host Atlanta rallied from 18 points down in the second half to snap an eight-game losing streak.

Scott made 6-of-7 from behind the 3-point arc and also grabbed eight rebounds while Teague, who missed the last game with an ankle injury, added six assists for the Hawks. DeMarre Carroll had a career-best 24 points and Louis Williams added 14 as Atlanta made 16-of-31 from 3-point range.

Carmelo Anthony poured in 35 points while Tyson Chandler contributed 10 points and a season-high 23 rebounds as the Knicks lost for the eighth time in 10 games. Raymond Felton chipped in with 16 points and 10 assists and J.R. Smith tallied 11 points for New York, which ended its road trip 1-3.

The Knicks trailed by 10 in the second quarter before scoring 25 of the next 28 points – eight by Anthony – and settling for a 52-39 edge at intermission. New York extended its lead to as many as 18 before Scott, Carroll and Williams each hit late 3-pointers to bring Atlanta within 73-68 going into the final quarter.

Williams made two 3-pointers while Scott and Teague drained one each in the first three minutes of the fourth quarter as Atlanta seized an 82-75 lead. The Knicks made four from behind the arc the rest of the way, but could not get closer than four as Teague and Scott combined for 26 points in the final period.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Atlanta F Paul Millsap, the team’s leading active scorer, was held out of the game due to a knee contusion. … Scott’s previous career high was 23 points against the Knicks last season. … Chandler reached double figures in rebounds for the fourth time in five games.
