Cavaliers 91, Grizzlies 83 (OT): Kyrie Irving scored 28 points and went 4-of-4 from 3-point range as host Cleveland slipped past Memphis.

Dion Waiters added 18 points, seven rebounds and six assists and delivered a mammoth dunk with 41.1 seconds left in overtime to give the Cavaliers a six-point lead. C.J. Miles tallied 14 points and Anderson Varejao grabbed 14 rebounds as Cleveland won its second straight contest following a six-game skid.

Nick Calathes scored 17 points and James Johnson added 15 for the Grizzlies, who lost for only the fourth time in 16 games. Zach Randolph had 14 points and eight rebounds for Memphis, which shot only 38.4 percent from the field and 3-of-14 from 3-point range.

The Grizzlies trailed 74-65 midway through the final quarter before Johnson scored 13 straight points to give Memphis a four-point edge with 2:10 remaining. Irving scored back-to-back baskets to knot the score with 18.1 seconds remaining and force the overtime, which the Cavaliers began by scoring the first five points.

Cleveland led by as many as 14 in the first half and held the Grizzlies to 35 percent from the field while taking a 42-33 halftime lead. Memphis used a 10-0 run early in the third quarter to take a one-point lead before the Cavaliers took a 59-58 lead into the final stanza.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Memphis PG Mike Conley (ankle) missed his fifth straight game and SG Tony Allen (wrist) sat out for the 18th consecutive contest. … The Cavaliers shot just 39.8 percent from the field but were 10-of-20 from 3-point range. … Grizzlies G Courtney Lee made two free throws with 36 seconds left in the second quarter – Memphis’ first makes of the game one night after setting an NBA record by attempting only one free throw in a victory over Atlanta.
