Cavaliers 115, Wizards 113: Dion Waiters came off the bench to score 24 points as visiting Cleveland snapped a six-game slide in its first game since firing general manager Chris Grant.

Kyrie Irving collected 23 points and 12 assists for the Cavaliers, who survived a wild stretch run to win for just the sixth time in 26 road games. C.J. Miles scored 14 of his 18 points in the first half and Alonzo Gee contributed 11 points and seven rebounds in a reserve role.

John Wall paced Washington with 32 points and 10 assists while Marcin Gortat had 19 points and eight boards. Martell Webster chipped in 18 points on six 3-pointers and Trevor Ariza scored 14 points for the Wizards, who dropped to 12-13 at home.

The Cavaliers led by 14 early in the fourth and it was an 11-point bulge inside of two minutes before Washington made a frantic charge with 17 points - including nine from Wall - in the final 1:52. Webster hit two 3-pointers in the final 13 seconds, the second of which cut the deficit to 115-113, and Jarrett Jack missed two free throws on the other end before deflecting a pass out of bounds just before the clock ran out on the Wizards' comeback try.

Seven players scored at least 11 points in a high-scoring first half, with Miles leading the way to help Cleveland secure a 67-63 halftime lead. Irving made all three free throws after being fouled on a long-range attempt midway through the third and Waiters had consecutive hoops before Matthew Dellavedova was good from 3-point distance to help expand the advantage to 93-85 after three.
