Hawks 125, 76ers 99: Elton Brand and Mike Scott scored 18 points apiece off the bench to lead a balanced attack as visiting Atlanta crushed Philadelphia.

DeMarre Carroll finished with 13 points and nine rebounds for the Hawks, who have won four of six following a 2-5 stretch. Paul Millsap, Jeff Teague and Lou Williams each added 12 points for Atlanta.

Thaddeus Young scored 23 of his 29 points in the first half and Michael Carter-Williams had 17 points for the 76ers, who have lost eight of their last nine home games. Leading scorer Evan Turner and top bench contributor Tony Wroten combined for 12 points on 3-of-23 shooting as Philadelphia shot 36.8 percent from the floor.

Young had 16 of Philadelphia's 21 points in the first quarter and helped his team remain within single digits through most of the second, throwing down a dunk with two minutes left to cut the Sixers' deficit to 57-50. Lou Williams then scored six points in a quick 7-0 burst for Atlanta, which took a 64-52 lead into the locker room.

Young had another dunk in the early moments of the second half before Atlanta scored five straight points and got a 3-pointer from Carroll moments later to push the lead over 20 for the first time. Millsap scored six points and Carroll had five in a 20-2 outburst that helped the Hawks carry a 102-75 advantage into the fourth, which offered little drama.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Atlanta tied its season high for points in the second quarter with 37 and set a new season standard for points in the third with 38. ... Hawks G Kyle Korver was 3-for-4 from beyond the arc in extending his NBA-record streak of consecutive games with a 3-pointer to 114. ... The Sixers have been outscored by an average of 14.6 points during a five-game home losing streak.
