Thunder 111, Hawks 109: Kevin Durant hit a tiebreaking jumper with 1.5 seconds left to cap a 41-point effort as host Oklahoma City rallied past Atlanta for its eighth consecutive victory.

Durant made five 3-pointers as part of a 15-of-25 shooting performance to record his 11th consecutive game of 30 or more points. Reggie Jackson added 18 points, Jeremy Lamb scored 14 and Serge Ibaka blocked six shots.

Paul Millsap had 23 points and eight rebounds and Mike Scott scored 16 points for the Hawks, who were without point guard Jeff Teague (ankle) for the second straight game. DeMarre Carroll and Shelvin Mack added 15 points apiece and Kyle Korver tallied 14.

Oklahoma City trailed by eight entering the fourth quarter and finally caught the Hawks at 107 on Durant’s basket with 2:11 remaining. Durant drained a step-back 16-footer to put the Thunder ahead with 25.5 seconds left before Millsap tied the game on a layup with 22.3 seconds to go prior to Durant connecting on the decisive 12-footer to thwart Atlanta’s double-teaming attempt.

Durant scored 18 first-half points but the Thunder trailed 57-50 at the break. Atlanta increased the lead to 14 early in the third quarter and settled for an 87-79 lead entering the final stanza.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Durant is averaging 37.8 points over the past 13 games and his streak of consecutive 30-point outings is the longest in the NBA since Orlando’s Tracy McGrady did it 14 straight times during the 2002-03 campaign. … Korver was 3-of-7 from 3-point range to extend his record of consecutive games of making at least one to 113. … Ibaka has blocked five or more shots in four of the past five games.
